Flanders Healing Ointment serves as a more “all-around” product – with a name that’s admittedly less fun to say. On the plus side, its unique formula provides an environment where the skin can heal from cuts, scrapes, burns and blisters on any part of the body. Plus, it’s great for dry/irritated skin and lips!
Our unique formula creates a semi-occlusive barrier on the skin. This helps the irritated skin stay moisturized, while also letting the skin breathe – creating the most beneficial environment for healing. All of our ingredients are added with a specific purpose in mind, and our formula is free of dyes, parabens, fillers and preservatives. We like to say that it “keeps the good stuff in and the bad stuff out!” From soothing aloe to nutrient-rich sunflower oil, our formula has everything you need to help your skin heal.
Simply add a thin layer to the affected area. The amount will vary depending on the type and severity of the skin irritation, but you don’t need to worry about putting on too much!
For dry, cracked or irritated skin and lips, relief is typically almost immediate. The same goes for cuts, scrapes and burns. If using to encourage surgical scar healing, you may feel immediate relief but it will likely take some time to notice visible results. Continue application as the wound heals to minimize scarring.
